In this afternoon workshop, we will find our way inward and explore the subtle riches of the inner body. The workshop will include both invigorating and restorative asana, yoga philosophy, and conclude with gentle pranayama.
The outer body is constantly in dialogue with our senses, and we rely on that information to interact with the world and communities around us. On the other hand, the activity of the senses and the never-ending stream of input can also keep our attention on the surface. By devoting time to turning our senses and attention inward, we can strengthen our relationship with ourselves. The inner body is a rich terrain of intuition, wisdom, self-guidance, and calm. On a busy summer day, the inner body offers a cool retreat.
So, like brave spelunkers headed into a cavern, we will dive deep into our own interiors and investigate how it feels to approach the practice from the inside out. We’ll use our headlamps to shine awareness on inner spaces, humor and humility to keep our egos quiet, and curious, open minds to enjoy the spirit of investigation!
All levels of practitioners are welcome – variations will be offered.
