Lauren Palladino is a Yoga Alliance certified Vinyasa Yoga teacher, certified Restorative Yoga teacher, and RYT 500 certified Joy of Yoga program graduate through Jennifer Prugh of Breathe Together in Los Gatos, CA. In November of 2015 she earned a certificate of completion in Integrative Yoga for Seniors at Duke Integrative Medicine which is part of the Duke University Health System. As a lifelong athlete, her passion for yoga began in 2002 during a college course at Florida Atlantic University. After graduation, while living in Manhattan, she had the opportunity to explore many styles and found that yoga balanced her body and mind while maintaining a busy corporate schedule. Following a marathon injury she dove head first into yoga and never looked back. Inspired by her mother who worked for 35+ years serving the senior community, Lauren’s passion lies in teaching yoga to those that have lived a while. As Krishnamacharya said “if you can breathe, you can practice yoga”.
Growing up on a little island off the coast of New Jersey, Lauren was blessed at an early age to be rooted with a deep appreciation of the environment. As a result, she loves to be near the water and get her gills wet as much as possible. She has been a longtime supporter of Surfrider Foundation (www.surfrider.org) and has been involved with chapters from coast to coast. When Lauren is outside in nature, whether gardening, hiking in the mountains, camping, fishing, or surfing, she feels like the best version of herself. In her spare time, she enjoys spending weekends with her husband Joe, exploring the west coast, playing mama to her dogs Shooter Jennings & Luna, and getting her hands dirty in the garden whenever possible.
