Mojdeh Zahiraleslamzadeh

Mojdeh, BS, MS, CHTP, ERYT, Reiki Master, Life Coach, has been studying and practicing healing arts for more than 30 years. She has been teaching meditation and yoga in the Bay Area for many years. She has had the honor to study with the late Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga Guru, Sri K. Pattabhi Jois (Guruji), his daughter Saraswati, and his grandson Sharath on several occasions during their visits to the U.S. and has traveled to India to study at the Ashtanga Yoga Research Institute in Mysore, India.

Upcoming Classes

Since 2000, Mojdeh has completed advanced studies, teacher trainings, workshops, and retreats with first generation teachers of Ashtanga Vinyasa tradition including: Chuck Miller, Richard Freeman, David Swenson, Nancy Gilgoff, Tim Miller, Maty Ezraty, David Roche, Lino Miele, Dena Kingsberg, John Berlinsky, David Garrigues, and Peter Sanson. Additionally, she has had the honor to study with Sri Dharma Mittra (Dharmaji) and has participated in the 200-hr, 500-hr, and 800-hr Life of a Yogi Teacher Training with Dharmaji at the Dharma Yoga Center in New York City. She has also done teacher training with Manouso Manos at the Abode of Iyengar Yoga in San Francisco, California.

Mojdeh holds a Master of Science degree in environmental engineering and an advance certificate in transformational life coaching from the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology (now Sofia University) in Palo Alto, California. She is a Reiki Master and a Certified Healing Touch Practitioner through the Healing Touch International (now Healing Beyond Boarders) and donates her time to the Healing Partners Program at Cancer Supportive Care Program at Stanford Hospitals and Clinics in Palo Alto California as well as Cancer Care Point in San Jose, California.
