Larry Muñoz is yoga practitioner, a teacher, an outdoor enthusiast, a commodity manager, and father. During a time of much chaos and change, Larry found yoga after one of his spinning student’s encouraged him to try it as a way to help manage the earthquake that had become his life as well as some chronic pain resulting from a lower back injury. An endurance athlete since youth, Larry was drawn into the practice and his inner being through the yogic experience which he found united his soul, breath and body. He became a life-long student of yoga and soon felt called to share the gifts of the practice with others. He completed his 200 hour Yoga Alliance Certification through Jennifer Prugh’s Joy of Yoga Teacher Training program in 2010 and has been sharing his passion ever since. Teaching at Breathe Los Gatos yoga studio, at several Bay Area fitness centers, and one on one, Larry inspires movement both physically and energetically. He continues to come to his mat daily for meditation and his asana practice. as a student, and continues to study under Jennifer Prugh as he wraps up his 500 hour certification. Other influential teachers include Rusty Wells, Max Strom, Tias Little, Kent Bond, Karen Holden, and many others. He supports The Tibetan Children’s Education Foundation and Big Brothers/Big Sisters of the Bay Area.
