Working with Bandhas in Asana + Pranayama

Friday, February 14
6:00pm-8:00pm

Yoga is the science of experience and a philosophy for living. When we integrate the three subtle energetic locks into our practice, we notice big changes in our ability to focus and draw the mind inward. Bandhas connect to the movement of our Inner Energy and the expansion of this vital life force within ourselves. We will discuss the more esoteric aspects of the practice, and explore easily accessible ways to begin a practice of breath-control using bandhas.

Individual Session Pricing

  • General: $60
  • Members: $50
  • Early-bird through 2/4: $50

Primary Series

Saturday, February  15
9:00am-11:30am

Join this guided class with Harmony where we will move through the sequence of a traditional Primary Series class with focused attention on learning to cultivate Mula Bandha and Uddiyana Bandha. This movement of subtle energy is an important key to the asana practice. Bandhas can be used to create a greater sense of lightness, balance, and ease of movement.

This will be followed by a talk about how to begin moving the mind inward and drawing it towards the more subtle aspects of practice and a guided practice of Spinal Breathing and meditation. Learn how to take your experience of yoga beyond asana practice and into the other more esoteric limbs of yoga.

Individual Session Pricing

  • General: $65
  • Members: $55
  • Early-bird through 2/5: $55
