Bridget’s life’s work is in assisting others to find thriving health by utilizing her expertise in two of the most clinically relevant holistic medicine modalities: Chinese Medicine and Ayurvedic Medicine, she is an incredible resource to patients. Her calling to delve deep into the most effective and non-harming medicines on the planet came through years of dedicated yoga practice, and the transformation of mind-body practice has allowed her to dedicate her life to being a part of your healing process as a board licensed primary care provider.

Bridget offers acupuncture, herbal medicine, Ayurvedic coaching, cupping, Gua Sha, personalized seasonal cleanses, and private yoga instruction all right in Breath Together Yoga wellness rooms. In receiving treatments with Bridget, expect to nourish your mind, body and spirit by reducing stress and support the nervous system. While Chinese, Ayurvedic and herbal medicine can aid in healing of almost all acute or chronic conditions, Bridget specializes in pain management, orthopedics, sports medicine, gynecology (women’s health, menstrual cycles, fertility, prenatal/postnatal care and menopause), cancer support, and maintaining optimum health for yoga practitioners.

As an adventurer, your healing practitioner Bridget’s most inspirational influence comes through living life to it’s fullest in the solitude of nature when adventuring high upon mountain peaks or in the ocean’s embrace. She was raised in the Michigan, lived many years in the high Rockies, and currently calls the Bay Area home.

Acupuncture is a form of medicine that works by stimulating the body’s natural healing abilities. We place very fine, sterile, one-time- use needles in specific points along energy meridians of the body. You will usually feel an initial sensation of pressure followed by deep relaxation during a treatment. Research shows that acupuncture stimulates endorphins, the body’s natural healers, as well as brain chemicals that promote circulation, immune function and hormonal balance. Acupuncture is excellent for pain, inflammation
reduction, and physical and psychological problems. One of the greatest advantages of acupuncture is the absence of undesirable side effects and the sense of well being after treatments. Many patients receiving treatment will note after a few sessions a reduction in daily stress and a more balanced state of mind. These one-on- one treatments are tailored specifically to the needs and presentation of each patient.

A single session may include any of the following techniques, depending on what is the most appropriate for you and your condition:

  • Acupuncture & Trigger Point Acupuncture
  • Herbal prescriptions, Vitamins & Supplements*
  • Moxabustion & heat therapy
  • Electrical Acupuncture
  • Nutritional Therapy
  • Auricular beads and seeds
  • Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine
  • Muscular Release, Rapid Release, Cupping & Gua Sha*

Pricing

  • Initial Consultation & Treatment: $175 (55 minute)
  • Acupuncture Follow up Treatment: $130 (55 minute)
  • Acupuncture & Cupping $145

Your first Ayurvedic medicine appointment will last about 60 minutes. During this time Bridget will take a detailed history of your life and health concerns. Diagnosis will be based upon intake, tongue and pulse evaluations. Your session will help to determine your constitution (original health state) and current state of the constitution. Together we dill determine an individualized wellness plan for you. Follow-up appointments are recommended every 6 weeks during the course of care. Ayurvedic Medicine utilizes
specialized diets, lifestyle modifications, yoga, meditation, supplements, massage and specific cleanses.

Often Ayurvedic medicine and acupuncture can be used together to enhance each health plan’s impact on long-term health.

Cupping

Cupping is a therapy often used for muscle tension and the common cold. Small glass cups are held in place on the body through the use of a mild suction. The practitioner is able to adjust the sensation according to the sensitivity and needs of each patient. This therapy will often leave a red mark on the body that will dissipate within a few days.

Gua Sha

Gua Sha is a deep massage technique used to release muscle tension and to address the common cold. Your acupuncturist will use a smooth-edged tool to scrape the skin over the area of concern. This technique might also leave behind a temporary mark or redness on the body.

  • 30-minute session (return patient): $85
  • 60-minute session (new patient): $130

Jo is in her happy place supporting clients to restore the health and vitality within and without.

She is a licensed acupuncturist with advanced training in Facial Rejuvenation massage, Myofasical Facial Release,  Non Invasive Blepharo-lifting Massage, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Intra-oral massage and Women’s Health.

Her work focuses on bringing our inner health and outer beauty into harmony, balancing and supporting the nervous system and utilizing practical, synergistic approaches for long-term results.
A facial treatment with Jo is a customized experience designed to harmonize with your skin’s specific needs, and may incorporate gua sha, lymphatic drainage, facial massage, cosmetic acupuncture, beautiful natural botanical formulations, and LED light therapy.

The skin and face reflect the internal state of the body and nervous system. Holistic facial treatments center around re-training the nervous system towards resilience, and inviting the optimization of the flow of blood, nutrients, lymph and qi in the skin and deeper layers of the face. When flow is impaired, and the nervous system is tight, we hold tension and habitual patterns in our neck and face, which can result in wrinkles, sagging, uneven texture, sallowness, congestion, inflammation and breakouts.

Jo’s treatments start at the cellular level, addressing the underlying reasons for the disharmony that can show itself in our face. Together we work with the body to regenerate flow, nourish, strengthen the skin’s moisture barrier and find optimal inner and outer equilibrium. This allows time and age to move through our features gracefully, revealing glow and vitality in the face and body at any age.

When we nourish and revitalize from within, luminous skin is the natural result.

Acupuncture is a medical approach with thousands of years of history of use. The underlying principle is that the human body is a part of nature and has an innate intelligent capacity for healing. In acupuncture treatments we communicate with and enhance the body’s own ability to rebalance and restore health. Because of this approach, acupuncture is excellent at resolving many kinds of physical challenges including inflammation, pain, headaches, hormonal imbalances, energy and sleep issues and nervous system imbalances without side effects.

Jo’s specialization is in working with women’s health, pregnancy, and postpartum. She also has many years of experience working with pain and injury and internal medicine.

Treatments may include Acupuncture, bodywork, moxa and heat therapy, Gua Sha and Cupping and herbs and supplements.

Energy Medicine is a method of working with aspects of ourselves that are not supported as well by physical medicine or talk therapy. This work acknowledges that we are multifaceted beings that experience life on many levels: physical, mental, emotional, subtle, spiritual; and that the most effective medicine is able to meet and support us at whichever level is needed.

Have you ever felt absolutely missed or not connected to by your practitioner or doctor, and felt that the therapies available were inadequate to help you? If so, you might be interested in this kind of work.

Some of the challenges Energy Medicine is incredibly helpful for:
  • focus
  • clarity and life mission
  • enhancing mental and physical performance
  • attachment trauma and relationship issues
  • self love and acceptance
  • family and social challenges
Jo was certified and later taught for a decade at the Luminous Body School of Energy Medicine.

Lacey Birch’s work is rooted in a deep reverence for the body’s innate wisdom and capacity to heal. She offers CranioSacral Therapy and integrative somatic support to help clients unwind long-held tension, reconnect with themselves, and find nervous system ease. With a background in trauma-informed care and certification as an Integrative Somatic Practitioner, Lacey holds space with compassion, presence, and deep listening.

Her path into healing arts began through yoga and a personal journey of recovery and reconnection. Over years of devoted practice, she became increasingly drawn to the subtle, powerful work of CranioSacral Therapy as a gentle yet profound way to help others regulate and restore. Her work is especially supportive for those navigating stress, chronic pain, trauma, anxiety, and exhaustion.

Lacey currently offers sessions in the wellness rooms at Breathe Together Yoga on Sundays and Mondays. Sessions with her are spacious, intuitive, and attuned—an invitation to soften into your body’s rhythms and feel more like yourself again.

Originally from the East Coast, Lacey is nourished by slow mornings, cozy rituals, time in nature, and walking with her rescue dog. She now calls the South Bay home, where she’s building her practice with heart and intention.
CranioSacral Therapy is a gentle, hands-on healing modality that supports your body’s natural ability to unwind, self-correct, and find balance. During your session, you’ll lie fully clothed on a treatment table in a calm, quiet room. Using a light therapeutic touch, I will tune in to subtle rhythms and tensions within your system—working especially with the head, spine, sacrum, and fascia—to help release restrictions and restore flow.

CST is deeply relaxing and non-invasive, making it a powerful support for those navigating chronic stress, trauma, headaches, TMJ dysfunction, and more. Many clients report feeling a sense of calm, clarity, and groundedness after just one session.

Each 75-minute session is tailored to your unique needs and may include time for grounding, body awareness, and integration. This is truly a therapy that meets you where you are.
