About Julie Kwok, 500-Hour RYT | Children’s Yoga Certified | School Teacher & Family Wellness Educator

Julie Kwok is a 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher, Children’s Yoga Certified instructor through Kidding Around Yoga, and a seasoned elementary school teacher with 28 years of classroom experience. With a deep passion for nurturing young minds and bodies, Julie blends her educational background with the power of yoga to support emotional development, confidence, and connection in children and families.

She began her journey with a 200-hour teacher training through Breathe For Change, where she studied Social Emotional Learning (SEL), mindfulness, and trauma-informed practices tailored specifically for educators. She continued her training with Kidding Around Yoga, focusing on yoga for children through fun, engaging, and age-appropriate methods. Julie then completed her 300-hour advanced training at Breathe Together Yoga under Jenn Prugh, where she deepened her understanding of anatomy, philosophy, and the therapeutic applications of yoga.

Julie specializes in yoga for young children and families, offering Mommy & Me, preschool, and early childhood yoga classes filled with playful movement, breathwork, and imagination. Her classes foster emotional regulation, body awareness, and joy in a supportive, nurturing environment.

With warmth, creativity, and intention, Julie creates spaces where kids and caregivers can move, breathe, and grow—together.
