I was first exposed to Yoga Nidra a few decades ago. The sense of deep rest and release that I felt had such a profound effect on me that I had to deepen my understanding of how it works. All I can say is that the practice of Yoga Nidra became part of my own healing process and soon after I began to incorporate it into other classes as well as other healing modalities that I provide.
Mojdeh B.S., M.S., C-IAYT, ERYT, CHTP, Reiki Master, Transpersonal Life Coach, has been a student and practitioner of healing arts for more than four decades and has been teaching meditation and yoga in the Bay Area for many years. She has had the honor to study with the late Ashtanga Vinyasa Master, Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, his daughter Saraswati, and his grandson Sharath as well as many senior teachers of the Ashtanga Vinyasa lineage (Richard Freeman & Mary Taylor, Chuck Miller, the late Maty Ezraty, and Tim Miller to name a few). She has had the honor to participate in the 200-hr, 500-hr, and 800-hr Life of a Yogi teacher training with Sri Dharma Mittra and had done teacher training with Manouso Manos at the Abode of Iyengar Yoga.
