The vagus nerve is the largest nerve in the body and is part of the nervous system that fosters connection with others. How we interact with each other greatly depends on how well our vagus nerve can receive accurate cues from our interactions internally and externally. A healthy, toned vagus nerve cultivates interaction from a place of authenticity, compassion, empathy, and love.
Through the practices of yoga and embodiment, while incorporating the principles of the polyvagal theory, we learn how to identify these subtle messages, create healthy patterns that allow us to bring our nervous systems back into rhythm while promoting resiliency, connection co-regulation, and moving about with an open heart.
This workshop is an all levels workshop and will include theory, discussion, physical practice, and meditation.
