The spine is literally central to everything we do. Keeping the spine healthy by keeping it moving in a variety of ways is key to maintaining ease in the body. This workshop uses the aerial hammocks to provide a unique perspective on the ways we can move our spines. We will take advantage of the traction we can create when we give the hammock our weight to elongate and relax the spine as we move through a variety of yoga poses.
The workshop will begin with a 45 minute session on low hammocks to acclimate and understand the basic shapes. After a short break, the workshop will resume with hammocks raised to approximately waist height.
