Fall Tapas: Moving with the Seasons

Jennifer Prugh practicing yoga outdoors.

Moving with the Seasons is offered at the beginning of each season to support your ability to thrive utilizing movement, breath and meditation. Learn how basic Ayurvedic principles apply to growing your practice. Create strategies for optimizing your movement practice to support better mobility, strength, balance and stability.  This course gives you the ability to calibrate your practice to respond to changes taking place in and around you.

Upon registration, you will receive your online course (with lifetime access) to support a lifetime of learning. We will meet on Zoom Friday evening to go over the Fall series. Saturday afternoon we’ll meet at Breathe Together Yoga to cover alignment, and build peak poses intelligently.

For 300 hour students:

  • Deepen your understanding of ayurvedic principles and fascia dynamics.
  • Learn to apply meridian theory to asana practice.
  • Develop strategies to support effective alignment in asana practice.
  • Through utilizing props and assists, learn to tailor yoga-asana practices to accommodate diverse needs and abilities.
  • Learn when and how to practice the Fall Replenish Series, as well as when to incorporate sound and heat.

This course is a part of the JOY of Yoga 300-Hour Teacher Training Core Curriculum, and also open to the public, with eligibility for 15 CEUs (Continuing Education Units). Apply here for courses to be eligible toward the 300-Hour.
