Finding Ease: Yoga for Living with Cancer and Chronic Conditions

BMLHcombo

Join us for an intimate and personalized small group Yoga Therapy workshop in conjunction with Cancer CAREPoint. Practice with others on the cancer continuum (new diagnosis, treatment, survivor) and those with chronic conditions while creating community, restoring the body and easing the mind. Gain tools to reduce stress and maintain your health.

Participants will experience a personalized, small group yoga therapy practice. There will be a brief introduction followed by short, educational presentations. This will be followed by a restorative yoga practice to replenish and restore. Those attending will leave with an understanding of the research evidence behind the yoga as well as simple takeaways that can be used to help ease the mind, as well as the body.

There will be a limit on the total number of participants to allow the instructors to personalize the session to the needs of the individuals in the group. Openings will be filled on a first-come, first served basis.
