Join us for an enriching 3-hour Aerial Yoga Fundamentals Workshop designed to provide a detailed guide to the key elements essential for any aerial yoga practice. Discover how the hammock is not just a tool for performing tricks, but a magical prop that provides support and enhances your ability to stretch and achieve various postures with ease and grace.
We will begin with techniques focusing on our feet, gradually moving up to our heads. The hammock starts in a low setting, which is ideal for beginners to get comfortable and build foundational strength and flexibility. Then, transitioning to a high setting, we will explore deeper stretches and more dynamic movements, encouraging greater freedom and range of motion. Finally, we return the hammock to a low setting for a serene Restorative practice, fostering relaxation and mindfulness. Students will learn a versatile chant that can be integrated into any yoga practice, as well as a sound guide for meditation that can be used at home to promote peace and tranquility.
