In this workshop with Joanne, you’ll get introduced to the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), also known as “tapping,” which is a method that some individuals have found helpful in managing their emotions. During EFT, individuals tap certain points on their body – similar to the points used during acupuncture.
Emotional freedom technique (EFT) is an alternative treatment for physical pain and emotional distress. It’s also referred to as tapping or psychological acupressure. Acupuncture uses needles to apply pressure to these energy points while EFT uses fingertip tapping to apply pressure. The benefit of EFT is that once you learn it, you can
do it on your own. This workshop will introduce you to the basic technique as well as the main pressure points.
Meditation, gentle movement, and breathwork will also be explored. This workshop is open to all levels of experience and abilities.
