Are you ready to downshift into fall with the most nourishing practices?  This balancing Autumn digestive reset will ground your nervous system while supporting your immunity. During the Autumn cleanse we will prepare and eat holistic, nutrient dense, and simple seasonal Ayurvedic foods. We will also practice asana, breath practices, and meditation in ways that support your health during this time of year.  

From the perspective of Chinese medicine, the metal element, which is strongest in fall season, relates to the lungs (inhale and intake) and large intestine (output and letting go). When balanced, the metal element encourages inner growth and clear insight. When imbalanced, the excess dryness and mobility of the metal element often expresses itself in health issues specific to lungs and the digestive system. 

Together we will support one another in optimum life and health. By the end of our time together, you will feel more present, steady, and resilient. 

This program is supported and guided by Bridget FULLY online.  This is a hybrid course with material (videos, manual, recipes) provided on an online platform additionally supported with  four live Zoom meetups (also recorded), and an online FB group page.

You are highly encouraged to have a daily yoga practice during the week.

  • Wednesday, September, 17 5:00pm-6:15pm Kick off
  • Friday, September 19, 4:30pm-5:30pm Replenish yoga and check-in
  • Monday, September 22, 5:00pm-6:00pm Office hours and group check-in
  • Thursday, September 25,  4:30pm-5:30pm Cleanse completion & moving forward

To participate, please intend to make a dietary adjustment, be interested in having a consistent mind-body practice (yoga asana, qigong, or tai chi) and meditation practice. This intensive will take place over Zoom, and each session will also be available as recordings afterwards for three weeks. A guidebook will be provided.

This course is a part of the JOY of Yoga 300-Hour Teacher Training Core Curriculum, and also open to the public, with eligibility for 15 CEUs (Continuing Education Units). Apply here for courses to be eligible toward the 300-Hour. 

About Bridget

Dr. Bridget Puchalsky is a primary care practitioner in California, she holds an D.Ac. DTCM C.A.P. E-RYT 500.  She works with patients on all areas of their health though a philosophy and practice to use daily life as medicine to heal and balance the body. This approach brings together practices of yoga, meditation, and nutrition with the treatments of Ayurveda, acupuncture and herbal medicine.  She works in groups and privately with patients at Breathe Together Yoga Wellness.  Bridget has been working with patients and leading cleanses for over a decade. She combines her knowledge of yoga, ayurveda and holistic medicine to bring patients well-rounded and nutritionally sound diet and lifestyle cleanses that align with each season.
