In 2006 I created the JOY of Yoga School of Integrative Learning to offer an embodied understanding of traditional Indian Hatha Yoga practices and energetic arts from Tibet and Nepal, combined with peer-reviewed scientific approaches to health and well-being. Since the creation of the JOY of Yoga 200-Hour Teacher Certification, the JOY of Yoga 300-Hour Teacher Certification in 2011, and JOY MAP (meditation and awareness program) in 2019, these programs have been offered locally, nationally, and internationally. Together, our faculty have hundreds of years of experience in living and teaching yoga in all kinds of professional settings.
