New to BTY? Try our New Student Special
Bringing the hammock lower to the ground offers possibilities for aerial experience that are very different from the high hammock. Aerial Yin, a slow-paced class with longer holds and gentle inversions takes one approach. Low Hammock Stretch and Strengthen is more active. This intensive will mainly consider poses we would use for these two classes. Taking high hammock poses down close to the floor can make them more accessible to people who are just beginning an aerial practice, but they also provide insights to the more experienced practitioner. Students can continue to develop sequences with the modular framework from the previous intensive, or choose flowing classes to explore specific themes in depth.
