Primal Vigor’s aim is to teach practices to cultivate Ojas, Tejas, and Prana to support one’s spiritual life. These foundational practices provide the inner essential “umph” to keep one moving forward in the spiritual journey.
This workshop utilizes rituals of the Conscious Feminine to explore, contemplate, journal, and share how these essential life force energies are already present in our lives and what our relationship is with them. We will also explore how to grow these essential energies in our lives through formal practices and also in simple everyday ways.
This is a 3 hour “mini retreat” workshop that includes structured group discussion and circle share, contemplation and writing time, an ojas building snack and break for socializing, and three meditation practices for each of the three essential energies. Also included is an agenda/handout for students with inspiring poetry as well as education about what these energies are and how they apply to our yoga practice.
Matece Skow, Founder of Nourishing Heart Yoga, has been fostering compassionate growth and healing for students and clients for the past 24 years. She facilitates safe and nurturing environments for transformation of body and heart through the practices of yoga, breathwork, and meditation.
Matece directs the Nourishing Heart Yoga Studio and School in Bloomington, Indiana. She devotes her attention and energy to meeting students where they are, helping each individual experience yoga in their own way, according to their own understanding and capability.
