For millennia, Chinese medical and healing practices have centered around adapting to changes in the seasons. Spring is the season of growth, plants, increasing vitality and flexibility. While acupuncture is the most commonly known Chinese healing method, there are numerous other self-care methods such as qigong, taiji, and seasonal healing herbs and diet that you can use on your own. The season of spring is associated with the wood element/phase and the dragon. This is also a time when the liver and tendons respond especially well to harmonizing practices, building resilience and dissipating heat. Join us in this workshop, and you will come away with easy to use cleansing, nourishing, and harmonizing exercises for the liver system as well as several recipes for rebalancing the wood phase.
