Celebrate the initiation of summer with intention. Throughout history, various wisdom traditions, including the many that make up the Yoga tradition, have honored the solstice as a rebirth of the sun.
As we bask in the abundance of warmth and light brought on by longer days and shorter nights, we have an opportunity to shine light on what matters most to us. The halfway point of the year is an auspicious time to pause, reflect on where we’ve been, acknowledge where we are, and look ahead to where we want to go.
In this 3-hour workshop, you’ll power through writer’s block and other unconscious barriers with powerful meditations, inspiring dharma talks, and empowering exercises. You will also receive:

What to bring:
As the Executive Director of Yoga For All Movement, a nonprofit organization providing trauma-informed yoga to marginalized populations in Santa Cruz County, Katie is deeply devoted to accessible healing. With a master’s degree in Yoga Studies and a background working with children, she brings a depth of knowledge, as well as a gentle, intuitive, and nurturing approach, to the practice.
Katie helped launch and edit Breathe Together Yoga’s digital magazine, Breathe Together Online. Additionally, her writing has been published at Elle.com, InStyle.com, LAYoga.com, and more. Every Thursday, you can find her hosting a weekly writing circle, to empower fellow creatives to hone their artistic voices.
