This Saturday, personal trainer Johnny Rhodes (@jrhodes810) will lead a workshop designed to give you tools to become stronger. He’ll cover how different movements can help improve your yoga practice with added strength and stability. You’ll learn (or rediscover) a lot of fundamentals, how to develop your own workout and so much more!

We have space to accommodate a few more people, and are intentionally making sure the group does not get too large. Johnny and @noellclarkyoga, who will lend support throughout this workshop, want to make sure students get plenty of attention!

We offer two Prenatal Yoga classes weekly led by @marina___is. You can find them on Mondays at 7:15pm and Wednesdays at 4:30pm.

Our Prenatal Yoga class will reduce your fears and replace them with a wealth of support, confidence in your changing body and camaraderie with other pregnant women. The prenatal yoga postures are adapted to everyone’s level of experience and stage of pregnancy. It's also a great opportunity to meet others navigating this experience.

At the end of the month, you can learn the theory

At the end of the month, you can learn the theory and practice of how to utilize different eastern and western modalities while releasing stress and trauma. @joannevarni will share this information in a Trauma Energetics Immersion. The course covers practices using neurogenic tremoring, Medical Qigong techniques, soft tissue manipulation, and tapping. These practices will target specific muscle groups, meridians/organs, and pressure points to influence stress/trauma release as well as calming the nervous system. Visualization and meditation to support trauma and stress reduction will also be practiced.

This training takes place from Friday, May 30-Sunday, June 1. It is open to anyone who’s curious about different modalities that can be accessed in any situation, under any circumstances, regardless of one’s physical conditions and limitations. If you are an instructor, this will be an excellent way to learn how to hold space for students who may become activated or triggered during class as well.
