Join Joanne for this 15-hour immersion and learn the theory and practice of how to utilize different modalities while working with stress and trauma. The workshop will include trauma-informed yoga, neurogenic tremoring, Medical Qigong practices specifically for stress and trauma release, somatic flows, tapping (acupressure specific to stress release and calming the nervous system), and meditation. We will learn how to truly hold space, release stressors in a variety of ways (releasing is not a one size fits all process), so that we can become more grounded, present and move from a state of joy and well-being.
Who may want to join this workshop? Anyone who is curious about different modalities that can be accessed in any situation, under any circumstances, regardless of one’s physical conditions and limitations. If you are a teacher this will be an excellent way to learn how to hold space for students who may become activated or triggered during
class as well.
Supplemental material to complement this immersion includes videos, a manual and more.
