Acupuncture is a form of medicine that works by stimulating the body’s natural healing abilities. We place very fine, sterile, one-time use needles in specific points along energy meridians of the body. You will usually feel an initial sensation of pressure followed by deep relaxation during a treatment. Research shows that acupuncture stimulates endorphins, the body’s natural healers, as well as brain chemicals that promote circulation, immune function, and hormonal balance. Acupuncture is excellent for pain, inflammation reduction, physical, and psychological problems. One of the greatest advantages of acupuncture is the absence of undesirable side effects and the sense of well being after treatments. Many patients receiving treatment will note after a few sessions a reduction in daily stress and a more balanced state of mind. These one-on-one treatments are tailored specifically to the needs and presentation of each patient.
A single session may include any of the following techniques, depending on what is the most appropriate for you and your condition:
Initial consultation & treatment (55 minutes): $150
Acupuncture follow up Treatment (55 minutes): $110

Your first Ayurvedic medicine appointment will last about 90 minutes. During this time, Bridget will take a detailed history of your life and health concerns. Diagnosis will be based upon intake, tongue, and pulse evaluations. Your session will help to determine your constitution (original health state) and current state of the constitution. Together we will determine an individualized wellness plan for you. Follow-up appointments are recommended every 6 weeks during the course of care. Ayurvedic Medicine utilizes specialized diets, lifestyle modifications, yoga, meditation, supplements, massage, and specific cleanses. Often, Ayurvedic medicine and acupuncture can be used together to enhance each health plan’s impact on long-term health.

Cupping
Cupping is a therapy often used for muscle tension and the common cold. Small glass cups are held in
place on the body through the use of a mild suction. The practitioner is able to adjust the sensation
according to the sensitivity and needs of each patient. This therapy will often leave a red mark on the body
that will dissipate within a few days.
Gua Sha
Gua Sha is a deep massage technique used to release muscle tension and to address the common cold. Your
acupuncturist will use a smooth-edged tool to scrape the skin over the area of concern. This technique
might also leave behind a temporary mark or redness on the body.
Tui Na
Tui Na, literally translated as “Push Grasp,” is a traditional form of Asian bodywork. It is essentially a
massage technique that is employed by your acupuncturist to address specific muscular-skeletal concerns.
30 minute session: $60

For most of my life, I’ve been a very active individual. I enjoy being outdoors, embraced by nature. Throughout my life I’ve been actively involved in a variety of sports including running, swimming, snow & water skiing, scuba diving, backpacking, and martial arts to name just a few.
Professionally, I spent a majority of my career time in technology-related fields in Silicon Valley. Eventually I reached a point where technology no longer offered a sense of purpose to my life. I knew it was time to go back to school but there was simply nothing technology-wise that appealed to me.
I found myself being increasingly drawn to a path that allowed me to give something back to society. I had already been studying Qigong and Tai Chi with Gideon Enz for several years when I was first introduced to the Hendrickson Method of Manual Therapy. It was the first time I had received a real deep tissue massage without feeling like I’d been body-slammed. I wasn’t in pain afterwards, and I felt a deep sense that some healing had taken place. For me, that was a key moment.
From there I earned an AA degree in Massage Therapy, the Hendrickson Method Therapist certification, six different RockTape certifications, a national certification in Sports Massage, and more. Currently, I’m in the 1,000 Hour JOY of Yoga program. And yes, I am a bit of an over-achiever.
Hendrickson Method (HM) is an advanced system of massage and manual therapy that is profoundly relaxing to receive, effortless to perform, and an efficient and effective treatment for acute and chronic pain. This is a perfect solution for those people that have been suffering from the pain of acute and chronic injuries that don’t seem to ever go away.
Depending on your specific needs, other healing modalities such as Myofascial Release (MFR) may be included in your therapeutic session.
Myofascial Release (MFR) is a safe and very effective hands-on technique that involves applying gentle sustained pressure into the Myofascial connective tissue restrictions to eliminate pain and restore motion. Several different techniques and tools are used to release muscle and fascial restrictions, and improve nerve glide and the ability move freely with less resistance. MFR is a great way to increase flexibility and release pain from sore muscles after intense physical workouts and activities.
60-min session $120
90-min session $180
Always a lover of beauty, deep connection and resilient solutions, Jo is in her happy place supporting people to uncover the health and vitality within.
With almost two decades of advanced training and practice in modalities including Acupuncture, bodywork, Cosmetic Acupuncture and facial rejuvenation techniques, and subtle energy medicine, Jo brings grounded expertise, compassion and a well developed understanding of how to cultivate balance in the body and nervous system to affect visible change in the face and skin.
Jo’s focus is to nourish, inspire, and get to the root of health challenges so that you can experience well being in your skin, throughout your body and your life.
When you come in for Cosmetic Acupuncture and facial treatments with Jo, you can expect a full immersion, relaxing, uplifting spa- like experience, while emerging with a glow and improvements in circulation and flow. These treatments carry nutrients to your cells, which stimulates collagen and elastin production, and can decrease fine lines, soften wrinkles, lift sagging and drooping, decrease inflammation and skin discoloration and nourish skin from the inside out.
The face, like the body, thrives with a constant, healthy flow of blood, nutrition, lymph and qi and within a relaxed nervous system state. When flow is impaired, and the nervous system is tight, we can experience sagging, tension, wrinkles, sallowness, congestion, breakouts and discoloration. For this reason, Jo’s facial support centers around re-educating the nervous system towards resilience, and inviting the return of flow. This allows time to move through our features gracefully, revealing glow and vitality in the face and body at any age. Vibrant skin begins on the cellular level, and we will start here. Through modalities such as Acupuncture, Gua Sha, Lymphatic Drainage, Sculpting Massage. LED therapy and the use of high vitality, organic, bio-active herbal products we nourish from the depth of the cells to the edges of the skin. Home self-care tools and rituals allow this work to take root and the habits of a lifetime that show in the skin to effectively transform.
When we nourish and revitalize from within, luminous skin is the natural result.
