Join Jennifer Prugh and the founder of the Tibetan Children’s Educational Foundation, Karma Tensum, for this rare chance to learn how Tibetan practices influence our daily practice. Karma will explore the centuries-old Tibetan spiritual heritage and underline its potential to benefit ordinary folks to lead more balanced and happier lives. He will also provide an overview of the essential lessons from the Tibetan Wheel of Life – the same theme being created as a sand mandala by the Venerable Losang Samten in our lobby.
Jennifer will work with you individually, focusing specifically on innovative ways of individually propping 3-5 specific “seasonal postures,” practice pranayama, (breath practice), and meditation. We will journal, explore a creative practice together as well as enjoy a winter tea blend from the Mandala Tea House. This will be a beautiful afternoon and a potent way to begin your year.
This is the second of four seasonal half-day retreats by Jennifer offered over this year. Each retreat has a specific focus. Our time together is designed to inspire your practice for the entire season ahead.
Bring a journal, a pen and your mat.
