Wuji Qigong, literally, “primordial energy work,” is an ancient family lineage of healing that combines martial arts, medicine and movement. Taught from father to son within the Imperial palace during the Qing Dynasty, this method was later passed from Master Duan Zhi Liang to Gideon Enz. This is the first time Gideon is teaching the full set of 18 Wuji Qigong exercises and principles to the public.
In Wuji Qigong, the primary goal is a harmony between integration and responsiveness, and the core method is a series of 18 movements. The first movement sets the stage by invoking your own uniqueness and place between heaven and earth, and the final exercise focuses on your natural expression. In between is a fundamental and traditional set of principles and exercises designed to help you explore, strengthen and balance your health and wellbeing. You will learn ten exercises in this first weekend, and the final eight in 2025.
