Join Joanne for this 15-hour immersion and learn the theory and practice of neurogenic tremoring. Neurogenic tremoring is a shaking mechanism that all mammals access during times of stress. Neurogenic means “originating in the nerves.” A tremor is a rhythmic back and forth movement of the muscles, starting in the psoas. The term neurogenic tremors refer to involuntary muscle movements that start in the nervous system allowing the tremoring mechanism to help bring the nervous system into balance.
Who may want to learn about neurogenic tremoring? Anyone who has experienced stress can benefit from this modality which means this is suitable for most people. It is particularly helpful to people who have experienced trauma or have ongoing stress in their lives. This is a proven modality that has helped thousands of people all over the world.
In this immersion, participants will learn basic theory for neurogenic tremoring including how to activate the tremors, hands on adjustments, and how to help people access tremors from various positions. In addition, Qigong and somatic yoga will be experienced as both an alternative and complement to the practice.
