Join us for an empowering workshop designed specifically for pregnant students eager to deepen their yoga practice during this transformative time. This session will guide you through the art of adapting common yoga poses to suit the needs of your changing body so that you can feel more confident attending a wide range of yoga classes. 

Whether you’re new to prenatal yoga or already attending classes, this workshop will enhance your understanding of how to prevent and alleviate common pregnancy discomforts through mindful movement and alignment. You’ll learn practical modifications for poses, breathing techniques, and relaxation strategies that support both your physical and emotional well-being and help prepare your body for birth.

This workshop will create a supportive space for you to connect with other expectant mothers while exploring the unique challenges and joys of practicing yoga during pregnancy. Come with your questions and leave feeling equipped to embrace your prenatal yoga journey with confidence!

About Marina:

Marina is a certified birth doula and a prenatal yoga & exercise specialist. She completed her training in 2022 with Doula School/Awakened Spirit Yoga and is currently studying to become certified with Body Ready Method. She loves running the Prenatal Yoga program here at BTY and supporting one-on-one clients through their prenatal and birthing journeys. She is passionate about helping women use the tools of yoga to prepare for birth with more awareness and intentionality. She believes in using this important time as an opportunity to connect with your body’s natural wisdom and power — and having fun in the process!
