Healing from the Inside Out: Introduction to SATYA

Bay Profile Portrait Small

SATYA (Sensory Awareness Training for Yoga Attunement), created by Tias Little, guides participants away from “doing” movement and toward “being” movement. The SATYA movements are done on the floor in a slow, soft, and flowing fashion without force, and rather with the intention to explore an inner landscape of feeling and sensation in the body. Experience non-weight bearing exercises that involve sliding, gliding, and circular movements to balance the body’s structure, reduce tension and fatigue and boost immunity.

Spend an afternoon of renewal and rejuvenation of body and mind with Bay. She will guide you through an embodied experience that can support your healing from the inside out. You can expect to leave this workshop feeling nourished, and replenished. Yoga experience is not required.

She trained in Yin yoga with Setareh Moafi in Santa Clara. She is currently completing a JOY of Yoga 300-hour teacher training with Jennifer Prugh and Noell Clark at Breathe Together Yoga, Los Gatos. She is studying yoga philosophy with Ty Landrum at Yoga Workshop, and continues to deepen her study of yoga of the subtle body and somatic practice with Tias Little.

She is passionate about sharing embodiment practices that bring a greater sense of well-being to everyone. Personally, SATYA has been instrumental for the healing of her old back injury that returned during the pandemic. Her physical and emotional resilience have increased.
