Bay Thongtheppairot

A mother, former engineer, and nature lover, Bay started her journey in Hatha yoga in Thailand over 2 decades ago. She began practicing Ashtanga vinyasa yoga in 2014, and received a RYT-200 Yoga-Alliance certified training from Adarsh Williams at Downtown Yoga Shala, San Jose. She completed a JOY of Yoga 300-hour teacher training with Jennifer Prugh at Breathe Together Yoga, Los Gatos, and received a RYT-500 certification in 2022.

She holds certifications in trauma-sensitive mindfulness facilitation, and MSC (Mindful Self-Compassion) teaching. She trained in SATYA (Sensory Awareness Training for Yoga Attunement) with Tias and Surya Little at Prajna Yoga, Santa Fe, and received a SATYA teaching certification. She continues to deepen her study of somatic practice and yoga therapy with Tias Little.

Her life-long passion lies in experiential and contemplative practices of mind-body awareness, rooted in the wisdom traditions. Her yoga classes blend in meditation, breathwork, and asana practices as a support for spinal health, and as an inquiry into somatic awareness. She is passionate about sharing embodiment practices that bring a greater sense of well-being to everyone.
