Yoga 101: A 6-week Introduction to Yoga

It can sometimes feel a little intimidating to begin a yoga practice. We have all been there! Yoga 101 is designed to welcome new beginners to yoga in a safe and supportive environment, where you can feel comfortable as you explore your way into your practice.

Yoga 101 is a 6-week workshop, where you are introduced to:

  • Fundamental yoga postures including alignment, techniques, and benefits
  • Introductory breathing practices and benefits
  • Fundamental meditation techniques
  • Core yoga philosophy
  • An introduction to different styles of yoga
  • Yoga props – blankets, blocks, and straps for a sweeter, accessible practice

Join Marcela Christjansen in this space where you are free to ask questions, explore doubts and concerns, and connect to other students. Enjoy the added benefit of building a closer relationship as the workshop makes herself more accessible to you.

Each session will be recorded and available for 48 hours after each meeting.

This workshop will be conducted in-studio and online via Zoom.
