Connected Core: Yoga for Incontinence

Leslie Howard in anantasana pose

Most core work begins at the pelvic floor — a subtle, powerful foundation that influences stability, breath, posture, and even our sense of confidence in daily life. When the pelvic floor holds too much tension or not enough support, the whole system feels the effects. This workshop is designed for anyone ready to explore a smarter, more compassionate approach to pelvic health.

Many people are told that leaking urine is simply the price of childbirth or aging. It isn’t something we talk about openly, and too often the only advice offered is “do more Kegels.” Yet for many bodies, that approach is incomplete — and sometimes even counterproductive.

Drawing from decades of therapeutic yoga teaching and research-backed methods, Pelvic Floor Yoga™ offers a holistic path toward balance, resilience, and ease. While not every condition can be fully resolved, many participants experience meaningful improvement — and some find complete relief — through a consistent, integrated practice.

In this workshop you’ll learn practical tools to support incontinence, pelvic pain, prolapse, and core stability, while discovering why pelvic floor health is about far more than squeezing muscles. Expect clear guidance, accessible practices, and a fresh understanding of how yoga can support lasting change.
