Join Cindy in an exploration of yoga on and off the mat.Β
We will take a journey through vinyasa and kundalini style yoga flowing through a series of creative and strength building poses.Β We will stretch, lengthen, and relax in a variety of yin and restorative poses.Β We will think about the ways in which we take what we learn on the mat into the world and vice a versa.Β It is easy to show up to practice and exercise, but it is not so easy to be kind, respectful and patient with our self and others in the outside world.Β The primary reason for practicing all of yoga is self-care and respect for us individually first and then others.Β This takes awareness and discipline.Β Being kind and respectful always is a practice and habit onto itself.Β Β
In this workshop we will hone our skills for being a yogi on and off our yoga mats.Β We will essentially learn to listen to our internal dialogue and honestly make decisions that make us better human beings, decrease our daily stresses, and reduce the impact of negatively with all whom we encounter on our daily paths.
This workshop will dive in body-mind practices that will launch you into a positive path for the new year and inspire you to take your movement practices seriously, like your life depends on it, because it does.Β Β
Appropriate for levels 1-3+.Β Knowledge of Vinyasa yoga and basic poses is helpful.
