From Routine to Ritual: Personalizing Your Home Practice

EL web

A home practice…We often hear about the benefits of a home practice and are even encouraged to “cultivate” a home practice. This can be easier said than done within the different seasons of life and its evolving demands. In this workshop, we will take a step back and engage in a pain free process of either establishing or rejuvenating a sustainable yoga practice, either at home or in combination with online and in person classes. This two hour workshop will combine yoga philosophy and practices, including live demonstrations and personal practice planning. The goal is to create a practice that will prove to be a place of safety and peace where you can thrive.

What You Will Learn:

  • Creating Sacred Space: Explore how to create a space conducive to yoga, meditation, and personal growth, whether at home or on the road.
  • Customizing Your Practice: Learn how to adapt poses, sequences, and durations to suit your unique physical requirements, time constraints, and wellness goals.
  • Navigating Challenges: Discuss and devise strategies to overcome common hurdles such as lack of motivation, distractions, and plateauing in your practice.
  • Lifelong Practice Tips: Uncover the secrets to keeping your practice alive and evolving, using tools like journals, online videos/classes, and community support.

Proceeds benefit Tibetan Children’s Education Foundation.

Note: this workshop will be recorded to evaluate an instructor who has completed at least 300 additional hours in their yoga education and training.
