This immersion is a perfect opportunity for yoga teachers to develop proficiency in teaching adaptive and accessible yoga to a diverse population of yoga students. The main groups we will be focusing on are older adults and basic yoga students. If time permits though, we will also discuss cancer patients and survivors, as well as pre- and post-natal students.

By completing this course, teachers will take their guiding skills to a higher level, gaining the ability to create a space of trust and freedom through their teachings. Their students will be able to experience the transforming benefits of yoga by being guided in a way that allows them to thrive, knowing they are being seen and cared for fully as they are.
This course is a part of the Joy of Yoga 300-Hour Teacher Training, and also open to the public, with eligibility for 15 CEUs (Continuing Education Units).
