The stories the mind spins are not the truth.

Our role is not to change other people’s minds – it is to free our own mind.

The world does not need us to fix it. The world needs us to be whole. It needs us to tap into our boundless creativity. it needs us to be compassionate human beings.

Every thought and statement we make will have an impact on someone. In the effort toward right action, we must choose carefully the seeds we sow.

How does what we say impact the people around us? Are we having a positive impact? How does being online leave us? Do we feel inspired? Or do we feel confused, angry, depressed?

If anyone is feeling anxious, I'm right there with you. Right now, it’s the ego going bonkers. The political commentary, the self-righteous speeches, is best taken in small doses or not at all.

The truth is that we are all able to make a tremendous difference with even our smallest, simplest actions and thoughts.

Thank you to all the teachers who have been leading peacefully, strongly, compassionately, with a sense of humor.

I can see it in your eyes.
